Well, what a day. Like many, me and my bro were psyched when we found out about the tour stoppin in our city, and we were countin down the days. First blow: Pitt's stops were cancelled (my planned attendance)! So we got our asses down to Station Square at around 11:30, but wandered around for bout 15 mins wonderin wat was goin on. When we finally went into the Hard Rock, we asked wat was up and found out the sponsoring radio station had pulled out...SOB!!!(the waitress said that was the 12th time she'd heard that) So we sat outside the restaraunt for a while tryin to figure out wat to do. Lo-and-behold Rock Band styled van pulls up, "Dudes???" The guys explained y they couldnt set up nemore, nd gave us sum free stuff to ease the pain. But by this time we remembered about the ferry that takes people directly to the stadium. After about a 10 min wait in line, then 5 mins on the boat, we arrived in front of the stadium. But like dumasses, we went to THE WRONG SIDE! and ended walkin ALL THE WAY AROUND! (we're big dudes, ok), but, thank christ, we finally made it! Unfortunately by this time we only got about one solid hr of playtime, which we savored. I only played the guitar once, more specifically bass for Tom Sawyer (Getty!!!), and it was actually difficult. The guitar is very nice, a little light, but the timing is a lot more difficult than GH's. Also, i noticed i was havin truble with the buttons cause there's hardly any significance on the yellow button. Then i got on drums, and because im a drummer, remained there the rest of the time. I GOT MY ASS KIKD! The best i did was on Dani California on Hard...91% on medium. I played 3 songs on hard, two of which (Tom Sawyer and Wave of Mutilation) i failed, but i actually got by Say It Aint So, most likely because i can play this on a real kit. We jammed with a tour guy for a while, then were told to wrap it up. I liked the available songs a lot, but sum covers were not that well, Tom Sawyer seamed kind of sung high pitched, and Paranoid was a little accelerated. But all-in-all it was a GREAT experience and i cant wait for the final product! C ya in line on black friday :D
