I have finally finished Guitar Hero 2! (kind of)

I beat the main setlist 5 stars! YAY for me!
I know this might seem amateuristic (is that a word?) but I'm proud of myself. Now the only thing left to do is Jordan. Give me some time people, I'll pull it off :D

I haven't played it in about 3 months since I upgraded to my PS3 and I got rid of the PS2. I had 5 starred every song but "Six"

I 5 starred Jordan even before some of the main setlist songs like "Misirlou" "Rock This Town" and "Carry Me Home"

The last 5 songs I five starred were, in this order:

5. The Trooper
4. Hangar 18
3. Free Bird
2. Misirlou
1. Psychobilly Freakout

I hated Psychobilly Freakout. It tooke me about a month just to 5 star that one. I finally accomplished it this morning, so I'm never playing that again :D

Once I got over my fear of finally jumping to hard and taking on that orange note, I got really good, really fast. Until I hit "The Great Wall of Freya" on Expert. I was stuck on that song for 2 weeks  That 90 second or so part where it repeats over and over again killed my hand and I would just slowly drift to red and fail....I hate that song so much just for that.

Congrats.. I'm still working on getting 5* on everything on Hard. Haha.. I've got most of them.. and I've got a lot of the Expert ones 5*'d as well.. but there are some that are very difficult.

When you are playing Jordan and finally beat it...it's one of the best feelings. The thing is you have to do is think of "Jordan" as a woman you would like to sleep with. Here is what I mean...

You try it out over and over and over again, and no matter what you do, you keep failing. You begin to think if you are ever going to overcome it.

Then you start the song one last time and you get that special feeling that this might just be the time. You start off at the beginning trying to figure out which notes to hit which ones not to hit, just trying to feel it out.

Then just when you think you are in, and starting to get the hang of it and the "solo" begins. You start to lose control and you don't know what is happening and you are scrambling furiously to try and regain it.

You then release "star power" and you throw out your best move, and the meter is in the green and you start to think this is easy and that you can finally do it. Then your "star power" runs out and you begin to scramble again. If you are lucky "Jordan" will see that you are trying so hard that it lets you reach "the blue note of happiness." If you finally get to experience this note it is like the beginning of sex.

Once you get that far you are in, the rest of it is going through the motions, you can take it from here. Then you get to that comfort spot again where you know what notes to hit and which ones to not hit and then once the song finishes, climax.

And there you go, you just conquered "Jordan"

That is the weirdest GH-related thing I have ever heard or read.

Or just imagine you're going to get sodomized by a horse if you don't beat the song, worked for me. But my ass is killing me.

I can give you tips on how to beat/5* jordan.

This is how i beat it, and it's kinda cheap.

Make sure you can play everything before the break well. If you know you can do all that 100% almost everytime, then you want to use SP right as you get it going into the chorus(if your looking for highscore..)
Now, if you cant do that then grab all the sp you can, do not use any of it. Once you enter the break you should have full sp, conserve it.. Now, the end of Solo A is the most vital part of this song. If you cant enter solo b in the green, you might as well restart. Now, when i play solo b, i take my main three fingers and rapidly push down the buttons as fast as i possibly can, and strum at a fast pace, around misirlou if not faster pace. Alot of people say this is bad and you will over strum.. and you will. But you will hit most of the notes. I get 3/4's through B without needing SP.. so I'm doing something right. You pretty much need to get to that little break in solo b without SP.. If you cant do it, practice. If you get thee and your still in the clear, do NOT use SP, wait til you HAVE to. And try to get good at using the select button. K, now when you hit red, activate star power and it will be easy going, for now.

K, your in solo C now, good going but this is when the fun REALLY starts. I use the same technique here as before. Except on some parts that i can hit-GRYBOBYRB-(Middle section of C) Now you will probably lose SP right around this area -YBYBYBYBO- I suck at this part so i try to go as far as i can with sp and get through that with SP activated so.. not much help i can give here. Now the last section of C, most people have seen then so many times but just cant get past it. We can see the end but then we get a kick to the face and oh so many gh forum flashbacks ocurr when you see the words "U PHAIL"
Hopefully, this wont happen. Strum like a crackhead, but dont use my last technique, use your three main fingers to ascend along with the notes, they are fast so it's hard to keep up but just hang in there.. Now your near the end and the BNoF is right ahead, hit the GRGRGRGR and start strumming yellow at a medi/fast pace and try to hit the others, if you no you cant just strum yellow it will work to, now don't get to excited, stop strumming fact and gracefully pluck the BNoF. Your home free.

Now, if you want to go for score, use sp the first chance you get to in the chorus, if you use select button it's easier. Now you should exit sp and get the next phrase quickly, save all sp from here.
Now you make it past the solos, yay. Get all the sp you can and use it going into F. Once you get to the bridge, try to strum at a good quick pace and quickly tap each note that appears other than green. You have to be fast or you will mess up.. I usually miss one sp in this area and get the last one. Now your in the outro, snag all the sp, use it and hope for that 5star.

Now give me tips on how to 5*PF, Carry Me Home, Misirlou, and Rock This Town.
