I've noticed now that for the past few weeks, the new DLC scores i get in solo tour arnt being added to my overall score. I improved my main setlist scores and still to no avail. Any ideas why it wont(Also, this is not in the leaderboards, this is at the character screen).

DLC doesn't count toward career score than it would be unfair competition for those who use their money on something besides Dlc.

That's correct, DLC does not count toward your Career Score.
As to the other part of your question, your Career Score is made up of your highest score on each of the 58 on-disc songs (main+bonus set) regardless of difficulty.
So for example, if you got 200,000 on Welcome Home on Hard, but then only 180,000 on Expert, you won't see your Career Score go up because you didn't beat your existing high score on that song.

I'm experiencing an issue with Solo Tour score- I've played two songs on drums that I had 3* in, one on hard and one on expert, 4*'d them both, but no change in my Tour Score on the screen in either case. This is on xbox.
Anyone else having an issue, or will it refresh at some point, or was that just wasted effort on my part?

The character screen always updates instantly, even though the online leaderboards have a bit of a delay. If you 4-starred a song on Hard that you previously had 3 stars on Hard, and your score didn't increase, then chances are you have 5-starred that song on Medium and that score is higher than the 4-star Hard score.

Thanks. After I posted that, my son and I were discussing it and I hypothesized that very thing. I have indeed 5*'d all but 4-5 songs on Medium. Time for mo' better practice.
