Soundtrack

I read some where that GH is releasing a soundtrack from the game. I guess thats cool, but Rock Band definitely needs to do so. There are many songs that i dont know the lyrics of and it would be great to pop in the soundtrack on my way to work to get more acquainted with the songs i dont know. The hardest part about singing is if you dont know the song, how do you know where and when they change pitches and what not. I know the game will have the pitch meter thing, but i think it would be awesome to get a chance to practice them. I guess i could burn a cd with all of the songs, but i would rather give the money to HMX!

Anyone else agree?

If they actually do release a soundtrack similar to how GH is doing one, and give you free exclusive downloads of some DLC songs like GH is also doing then I would not be opposed to a Rock Band Soundtrack.

I'd be all for this as well. When GHII's soundtrack was being peace mealed out, I would...acquire...the songs immediately. Since there were a substantial number of songs with which I was not familiar, it really helped to get a feel for the guitar parts and different sections before playing the song proper.

But, I will say that doing so also kind of took away from the excitement of playing the game. It was still cool to play along with the "notes" but the anticipation of seeing what songs would be included in the next yet to be unlocked tier was lost. I knew what songs were coming up when, and I knew exactly how they would sound. So it's kind of a two way street.
