This year's guitar is a les paul with a custom aerosmith faceplate (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=70918). It looks really sweet, and comes with the game, guitar and faceplate, and a Aerosmith world tour booklet.

It is on sale for 99.99 this June. My dad heard it was June 6th in stores down here, but IGN says june 29.

Yeah, I was thinking it was a bit much for an expansion disc, but im a Aerosmith fan so im going to pick up the game (disc only) regardless.

Um, do you guys remember Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s ??

It was a full price game, but all HMX did was take GH2, change some colours in venues, change a few outfits and add the new songs. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game and still play it to this day, but if you're going to complain about GH:Aerosmith...

At least with GH:A they are creating new venues, adding the Aerosmith characters (with motion capturing) and rerecorded masters where they weren't available. In other words, they are putting in much more work to GH:A than what was done in GH:80s.

GH: Rock the 80's was a freakin joke. There were only a few songs and the fact that they charged full price made it a rip off. At least they have all the members of Aerosmith in this game. Either way, i wouldnt pay full price for it. I am lucky that i won it from the Slurpee/7-11 giveaway.

Okay, we're now about 2 weeks out from release. Where's the full set list? If this is the full set list, then man is it a complete rip-off.

No thats not the full set-list, I think there are maybe 2 more tiers that havent been released yet.

I think you can chalk this up to the amount of competition between harmonix and activision/neversoft. Will be interesting to see what DLC is on Rock Band the week Aerosmith comes out. Would be a very good week to play the nevermind album card!

Not neccesarily, I remember for GH3 the last few tiers werent known untill right around launch, once people started getting pre-street date copies. Even the people at Score Hero wouldnt divulge what the last songs were.

Sure there was rumors, but nothing concrete.

I am not willing to play 2 dollars for anything. I am assuming you are talking about paying $2 for a dlc song. The difference in that is the fact that i dont have to download every song. I get to pick and choose which ones i do and dont want to download. Your not forced to get songs you dont want to play like you are with these expansion games. Either way, i am getting it because its free.

just to clear this up, this is NOT the official completed setlist. These are the songs Aerosmith and Neversoft have reported to the press.

Their should be many, many, more...

their will probably be a downloaded GH:WT song. Only for guitar tho. We could also see bands such as the yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses, Metallica, Motley Crue, The Beatles "Come together", and kiss. All of such were major influences to Aerosmith, and Aerosmith were major influences as well.

One of aerosmith's biggest influences "Guns n Roses" will likely make an appearance. The Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin could also sneak up. And we definitley know aerosmiths cover of "Come Together" will be in the game.

Thanks for this thread, man. On Sunday I put ten bucks down on the game. I'm a fan or Aerosmith and Guitar Hero, so it was in no way a problem for me.

Believe it or not, I'm really digging the song Uncle Salty. I listened to about thurty seconds at first and decided I hated it, but when I actually took the time to listen to more it came as a surprise to me that it was a great song. Happy it's in the game.
