im just wondering how many people are gonna get GH4 its supposed to be the best music game ever, you can make your own music. no covers, and its supposed to have better technology.

everyone talks about hows its a rip off of rock band, and i agree. But thats not going to stop me from buying it because it sounds awesome.

You needed a 3rd choice, the "Perhaps" answer. For me it'll depend on the songs included with the game. They reach awesome song list critical mass, and I'm almost certain to get it. If they don't, I'm almost certain NOT to get it, unless they actually plan to support their game with DLC (as much or more than RB).

And given the history of their DLC, I'm not expecting much outta them.

Instrument/controller consolidation is also a big factor, I don't need yet another full band of instruments to go along with the RB stuff AND the GH stuff I have on PS2.

but there would be a guitar hero game coming out in june 09 probably


it should be a decade or a genre

i would suggest 70's or 90s as a decade and punk or classic rock as a genre

Apples speaks the truth. Especially since most of Rush's masters are worthless for a game like this (if I recall, many of them were recorded all together), that's a huge advantage to Rock Band.

I somehow, however, get the feeling that they'll throw a track like Far Cry on there just so they can say they have Rush in GHWT :)

I am going to get GH4 hopefully it lives up to the hype it is getting 6 months before release. The make your own song feature sounds like fun and online band world tour is a good idea.
