Just finished Hard Guitar Tour

Ive just got FWD to go, doing my head in though. I can get about 82 % finished every time, solo is just killing me :(

Nice work. FWD took me forever. I beat GG&HT a week or two before FWD (I moved on to expert for other songs while occassionally trying FWD on Hard).

I have beaten every song in the game on hard except The Cars stuff I just downloaded yesterday and THRASHER...I don't even care about beating THRASHER at this point.

Is Thrasher as hard as I'm making it?


Question about to strum or not to strum solos...I have to strum them because I use the GHII Axe guitar, but I was considering trying to get used to the RB guitar so I could avoid strumming the solos on those higher difficulty songs.

I just recently beat those 2 songs also to beat hard, the trick was that I practiced playing them in tug of war, score duel, and band quickplay. This way you get to see the whole chart, concentrate on the solos and learn them a little better instead of just flailing and failing on solo tour over and over again.

I thought the screen shot after completing Hard said something about a gold guitar? I went to the rock shop, I didn't see any gold guitar. Any help?

I have some good news and bad news, first congrats on beating the hard tour,now the bad news. The same song that gave you problems on hard will most likely give you a problem on Expert if you choose to do so. GGAHT is the only song I haven't beaten on Expert and it is starting to bug me out!

Good luck with expert. I just finished expert guitar tour yesterday after being stuck on GGaHT for about a month. The g-r-y-r-g repeated pattern kills you. So I just did triplets instead of going back and forth. Made it so much easier and I only skipped every other red.

congrats the only song i found difficult on the hard setting was FWD i hate that song so much the damn solo was getting me everytime

Congrats on getting through Hard!

Prior to RB, I had never played a rhythm game before. I sucked when I bought it in late April and struggled on Easy. I proceeded to Medium and I was convinced I would never attempt anything more difficult with that. On Friday, I started screwing around with Hard (on the guitar) and found that I was able to motor through most songs (not 5-starring or anything, but getting through with little "reds").

When I got to the last tier on Monday, I was shocked, and got through GGaHT on my first try. FWD ended up taking me about 4 attempts before finally breaking through that 79% barrier. I'm now 15 songs into Expert, and I'm still certain I'll never see that last tier. :)

Nice! I've had RB for a week and hard gimme shelter is my current obstacle. I'm still in the process of retraining my left hand so my pointer finger does green and red while middle to pinky gets y b o. Less moving around that way I figure.

Strangely I beat Flirting with Disaster and Green Grass on my second tries in hard solo mode. I don´t find them that hard. Now moving on to expert.

gght was a one try on hard but fwd took me about a week to beat on hard. Then I procedded to beat the living daylights out of expert until the last set. Passed rtth and the lone Aerosmith song on the disk. Now i have ggaht fwd and highway star left on expert. I dont see me passing any of them anytime soon. I'm pitching my buddy daniel a free paint or a meal or something to pass the last 3 for me just for the acheievment.

I beat every song on hard tour too. It took me a long time to beat FWD though. I thought GGaHT was going to be way harder but it had a lot of nice breaks in it.

Though there's one song I still can't beat (I get to around 92-95% everytime) and then my overdrive kicks out and I plummet, China Cat Sunflower.

IVe went through and got him some achievments on other games cause he didnt want to do them cause he hates the slow scroll of easy and medium.
