Tool & Alice in chains

I have to say........Tool and Alice In Chains are my top 2 most wanted bands in Rock Band.....Tool has some of the sickest guitar/bass riffs......not to mention Danny Carey on Drums and Maynards vocals......And of course Alice in Chains....pretty much anything on the dirt album would kick ass.

just my 2 cents....what do you all think

Hell yes dude those are two of my favorite bands and I wish they would put the Facelift album as dlc pretty much every song is playable and if no that then I hope Man In The Box is in because trying to sing that would be crazy...
As for Tool there's a lot of songs that could be awesome in the game but my personal fav of theirs is Stinkfist

Id really like to see your idea of a good setlist, almost everything Ive seen you post has been "that band sucks", with an expection or two. What bands do you listen too? Im curious to know what "real" music is.

Yeah, I agree.....obviously everyone has their own taste in music....what may be the "best band ever" to one person.....may suck to another.....cant we all just get along

It's difficult for some people (usually pretentious arrogant dickwads) to accept the fact that other people have different tastes. There's a lot of music I can't stand but I'm not going to **** all over somone because they listen to something different (unless they do it to me first ;) )

Tool would be amazing for this game, and I actually agree on your guitar/bass riffs comment. If badass is being used as "intimidating," Tool definately has badass riffs :P They may not be the most difficult riffs but the way Tool layers their work makes the riffs unconventional and extremely musical.

Anyway I shouldn't get into that...battle axe may hurt my e-feelings!

I'd love to see any Tool song in here...really anything would be great, but 46 and 2 and Schism to me are the front runners for this type of game.

I agree with tombrady 100%.....I didnt mean badass in that they are super tough...just an amazingly cool sound that nobody else sounds like. As far as Maynard's singing and Danny's drumming, I think that there could be some pretty challenging parts there. Have you ever tried to sing sober, its quite tough ... not that im a great singer or anything

Judging someone by their taste in ANYTHING is just silly. I have good friends who don't like the same things and there are a lot of people I don't like who like similar things. To me it's no different than disliking somone because of political affiliation...it makes no sense.

Some of these fans seem to use bands to identify themselves more than anything, so I can understand the frustration (even I want to lash out at the people who go on and on about how Linkin Park and AFI are revolutionary musicians) but it's not who they are.

And yeah, Brady is a legend. He bangs supermodels and wins championships...that's what life is all about.

Every thread you post in usually contains "This band is garbage," not "I don't really care for this band."

You post like you have the end-all opinion on what is good music; you don't disagree and then give your opinions. Basically, you **** all over people, and then you call them names when they defend themselves.

But don't worry about it. Sadly, you're not the only one who does it (and I've done it myself a number of times).

Until you go back and read your posts and realize how opinionated and aggressive you sound, you won't stop doing it.

No, you don't have to be nice to people on the internet forums. If you saw some of the stuff I post on the Tribes (a FPS) forums you wouldn't believe it was the same person.

However, if anything, I'm just informing you that being an "e-thug" only makes you look like a douchebag to any intelligent forum browser. This isn't some counterstrike forum where you are dealing with a bunch of people taking advantage of the anonymity provided by the internet; this is a bunch of real people with real opinions that you're ****ting on.

I can go into a Tribes server and **** all over everyone and be a completely different person, but if I post here, I'm posting my opinions.

It's not that anyone is being sensitive...it's more of an annoyance that you get satisfaction out of trolling threads and bashing people.

There are people enthusiastic about their music (as you probably are too) and it is just silly to see some e-thug throw opinions around like cold hard facts. Really, being assertive and opinionated doesn't give you more respect here; it just makes you look kind of pathetic.
