So far i've seen only 1 set of songs released, but in this months Edge magazine over here in the UK, they have said they are localising the game for different countries, with different songs in each game. Has anything else been announced about this other than the magazine interview?

I read that article as well, but I think they were referring to DLC. I could be wrong though as I read it a while ago.

It sounds like the song list will be the same, but each region will have a few additional localized tracks.

Well, as the release date hasn't even been announced yet, here's to hoping I can import the US version anyway

the localisation is for some bonus tracks and some DLC the main setlist is the same worldwide.. Confirmed by HMXSean on the day of the Leipzig announcement.

They'll probably jump remove all good music and throw in some Spanish/French rock **** instead, knowing the E.U.'s luck...

I dont see that happening. I think HMX recognise British music stands on it's own two feet and wouldn't get lumped in with Europe as a whole.
At least I'm hoping that's the case as we might get to see the likes of the Smiths and The Stone roses. Both of whom are unlikely to be appreciated by the USA, but have a huge fanbase in the UK. That's what I think regionalised DLC is intended for. That way Norway can have all the death metal they want. And Lordi.

Hopefully the music they add in different regions will be up for DLC. If Lordi was in the UK's game that'd be pretty sweet.

I'll be honest and say I've only ever heard the track Lordi won Eurovision with. That was enough for me to be prejudiced against them forever!

Yeah, a good bit of people don't like them mainly because of their looks and not music. Which is weird because lots of people loved Gwar and that's what basically Lordi is just modern. The one they won Eurovision with I think was "Hardrock Hallelujah" which really isn't their best and I have no idea how in the hell the won a competition with that song. Their better songs are "Who's your daddy?" "Pet my destroyer" and "Blood Red Sandman" to name a few.

They won because Eurovision is a boring assortiment of kitsh EuroPop singers with lame songs. And sudently, a band of monsters making Hard Rock appeared, like Sauron and his troops in the middle of Disneyworld. Everyone loved it.
Average Eurovision song. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l3e7zHB_vU)
