well its official... my drum set blue pad took its last beating lastnight.... i blame Message In A Bottle.... oh how i love that song... i was wondering why i was getting 50+k LESS then normal on all my scores... i figured lost combo streak yes? so i played MiaB and forgot about everything, and just hit blue.... no dice.
took the pad off and checked the censor... took it apart, put it back together, HEY IT WORKS NOW!
tried again... 20 seconds into a song.... no dice.
took it apart again and this time i noticed something.... 2 BIG CRACKS!!!! split the drum head from top to bottom, and a new slice of pie is starting to form from the 2 halves. mmmmm pie....
so it took, almost exactly 5 months to break my drums.... 1st guitar down @ 3.5 months, and now original drums set down... on the bright side, i've MacGyvered it back together that works and doesnt drop notes... however i'm not allowing myself to play the drums cause i'll break them again playing on expert.
so my question to you all is... whats the set i'm hoping for? QM was it? i really want to build my own set now. just for kicks. ;)

i also used a stick of gum and a single toothpick filed down to have no tapered edges. that was the key.

Forget McGyver...
Use the McGruber approach: One glass of whiskey, pubic hair, dog poop.

The only legitimate Macguyver fix uses a paper clip.

The only legitimate Macguyver fix uses a paper clip.
Add a rubber band and a small ball of tin foil, and you got yourself a nuclear bomb.
