can you buy DLC with a silver account? (and the account is free, right?)

I havent renewed my gold yet, because i'm renewing it next week, but i'll probably get some points cards tomorrow...

Silver accounts are free.

I'm not sure about the other stuff, though.

yes silver is free, and you can buy stuff with it.


i don't even buy gold, i live off of free month trials i get in some games.


and when those don't work, i make a new proflie and use the free month on it.

i know its cheap, but i plan on buying it soon. i just don't have the money right now, due to DLC songs.:D

I believe the only difference between silver and gold as it relates to DLC is you can't get free downloads until they've been on the marketplace for a week. I may be incorrect on that, however, so don't take my word for it. And in any case, so far the only thing that would relate to is Still Alive.

lol thanks guys. i have a lot of DLC, it's just I haven't renewed my gold membership, and I'm going to renew it on my birthday next saturday, but i wanted to get some more songs.
