For villians, I'll say Light from Death Note. Honestly, I can't think of many memorable anime villians.

I love everyone's choice of Light

I've never seen the Death Note anime, but the manga is one of my favorites. My band's actually called Deathnote lol.

Throughout the entire series I kept cheering for Light to win. That's when you know you have a good villain, when you actually cheer for him or her to win.

With the mention of Rock Lee, I'd like to also make an honorable mention for Sasuke. He's more of an antihero than anything, but I like him because, aside from being totally badass, he's the only character with any real depth in Naruto.
