In the second installment of my ongoing series (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50352) of actually obscure artists getting threads that no one will pay attention to, I bring you Anne Danielewski, better known by her stage name Poe. She is the brother of author Mark Z. Danielewski, who has written novels such as House of Leaves and Only Revolutions. Poe's songs are nowhere near as pretentious as those book titles and in fact rock pretty hard on occasion. The three songs I'm about to present come from Poe's 2000 release, Haunted, which was put out and promoted alongside House of Leaves. I don't know much about her 1996 album Hello, so if anyone has any further suggestions (and can provide links or videos), that would be great.
EDIT: Dag, no more HTML in posts. Oh well. Here (http://www.imeem.com/people/P-F1YP2/playlist/S7BU33MV/poe_for_rock_band_music_playlist/) is the playlist, featuring "Walk the Walk", "Not a Virgin", and "Hey Pretty".

Haunted was a solid album, although I'm not sure how well it would translate to RB.
Hello was a copycat album of a lot of the 90s alt acts, and aside from a few bright spots, was a heaping pile of trash. Fortunately miss Poe was inspired by her brother before recording again.

Yeah, there's only a few tracks that would really work well. A friend of mine suggested the title track, but there's next to no guitar. I tried to find "Could've Gone Mad" for the playlist, but no dice.
She's collecting dream accounts on her website (http://www.repoezessed.com) right now, so hopefully she and her brother will be collaborating again in the near future.
