It's Twilight Princess all over again.

No way they'll push the expected number of units in Spring.

Unless they have a killer app we're unaware of that can sell the online prospect like SSB I think they'll stall for Holiday '08.

Yeah, there's no way they'll stall a full year. I think they'd stall to the begining of summer, latest.

I dont think Nintendo has EVER put out a major title on time. Think about it, every SINGLE major title has been delayed AT LEAST once.

It's all for the best, hopefully some new characters and a better understanding of how online will work.

No, they made two versions. GCN version was made and brought out earlier that the Wii version. The Wii version was brought out at launch, so tech. the game came out on "schedule". Even if it meant that it was for different reasons.

Bull.

I don't believe it. They could've put out the GC version and later that year put out the Wii version. But to ride on the Wii hype and the holiday rush it made sense to stall the biggest Nintendo title in almost three years prior to its release

Although both versions are relatively the same, they were brought out because they knew the fans would be angered if there was no GCN version. Not everyone was going to get a Wii when it first came out, Nintendo knew that and elaborated on the problem.
