Hey Guys,

It seems I've been having problems with some of my DLC recently. While playing guitar (I haven't tested the other instruments yet) anytime I highlight a song out of the Metallica Pack or Fortunate Son (either in Solo Tour or Quickplay) it pops up a messege "Song Data that is required to continue has become unavailable. Your gaming session will now be reset."

Now I tried deleting them and redownloading the songs however the messege still pops up. This is on a separate Xbox than the one I originally DL'd them on, however they did work before on this Box (as ...And Justice For All has a score for drums on this Xbox).

I really don't know how I could go about fixing this, and besides wanted to play the songs it's quit frustrating accidently stopping the selector on one of the songs to have it kick me back to the title screen.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Chaz

I had the same problems with In Bloom (On disc, I know).
I just cleaned the disc off.
I doubt ^ is any help, but it is worth a shot.
If you still have problems you should contact Harmonix by the link at the bottom of the page.

Can you play the songs while logged onto Xbox Live?

If so you need to get in touch with Microsoft and get your info changed over to your new Xbox.

That was my first thought, but I'm definitely logged on XBL

I'd definately get in touch with Microsoft and have them re-route your information just in-case this is your issue. (I know its a pain to sit on the phone with them for 6 hours lol) Then I'd delete the songs and re-download them. If your problem continues after tha it may be a problem with your hard-drive.

Try a different Rock Band disc to see if it may be something to do with your disc...Perhaps a friend nearby has RB for 360 aswell?

OT: I heard rumors that the spring update for Xbox Live will allow you to do it yourself vs. calling and sitting on Xbox Support for yours (although it's summer and we have yet to see such an update)

Actually none of the above answers are correct.

What you need to do is go to the System Blade, then go into Memory -> Hard Drive -> Games -> Rock Band

Down near the bottom you'll find a file called Rock Band Downloaded Song Data (or something very similar to that).

Delete that file. Do NOT delete your Save Game file.

Then make sure you're signed into XBL and restart the game. It'll ask you to pick a storage device for your DLC data cache. Just pick your hard drive and it'll rebuild all the DRM cache and you should be good to go.

Thank you so much... been looking for a solution to this problem for a long time.
