...and although it WOULD be safe to assume that constantly active members have it pre-ordered... it's not ALWAYS the case.

My mom preordered it for me at home, while I am here in Pittsburgh. Hell, she even volunteered to go get it at 10 am on Black Friday. Haha, I love her so much - but I think I'll enjoy everything so much more if I go pick it up myself.

There is no reason for anyone not to pre-order. It's releasing on possibly the biggest shopping day of the year.

Yes, Rock Band is still somewhat underground, only known by real gamers. But, you never know. It only takes 1 week to see constant commercials on all major network channels for parents and general public to find out about this game. Or, if you see a news report on the evening news.

Bottom line, pre-order, I wouldn't take your chances not to.

ALSO, in light of the confirmation that NO individual instruments will be sold. You definitely want to pre-order the bundle, as it will sell out at release, and probably not be available again until mid december.

I've TRIED to pre-order but gamestop.com sucks and keeps saying theres an error with my details.

I'm an aussie and it says some international banks block them so I have to send them all my credit card details and tell my bank to allow them access and to give out my address details. I went to my bank and they just said it's a dodgey site trying to steal my money and that their policy prevents them from doing anything required to get my RB order.

Obviously gamestop isn't doing that, they're one of the biggest (if not THE biggest games retail companies in the US. But yeah, it's just annoying.

I havn't found any other online stores that will ship to Australia, which sucks.

Just the minimum down payment for Rock Band. I'll have it paid off before the 23rd just so I can look really cool walking in and picking it up and not having to drop any money on the counter.

Got my pre-order in today, and we plunked down the full amount just so we wouldn't have to worry about it later. It'll also look nice on the 46" widescreen TV we grabbed. After playing at the tour, I realize there's just no other proper way to play the game than in widescreen...
