What's Your In-Game Band?

With all the customization that you can put into your fake band, this game is just awesome. After a jam session, we'll always mess around with our characters, maybe try to give them a theme, maybe enter a new quote. Mess around with the logos, or check the top scores on some songs we played...
I just thought it'd be cool to have a thread for people to post their bands and how they came into creation. So here's some of mine.

Klung Phu
Name: Based on the first two letters of the three band mates last names (Kl, Ph, Ng). We couldn't come up with anything better using any other combination.
Theme: Gender confused members.
Memorable moments: We lost our singer due to laughter when he saw the artist's name on Learn to Fly...

Plumbum and the Chewy Chickens
Name: We wanted a band name that sounded wacky and cool. We took the drummer's nickname (Plumbum; yes, lead) and picked a random food animal.
Notable Members: Plumbum, the drummer with an afro, a skirt, and bondage gear.
Theme: Creepiest looking character wins.
Memorable moments: Dressing up 'Plumbum' after he left early...


Oh, and if anyone out there is a member of either The Fallopian Tube Swim Team or Hitler and the Jew Crew, you guys are our idols!

yeah some of the band names out there are hilarious...Sometimes I just scroll through the leaderboards after checking a score I get, just to see some of the funny names.....

Kojak's Wang
- mainly so we can say stuff like "Kojak's Wang rules!" and "Kojak's Wang is bigger than Jesus!"

Humiliating Kick In The C-Word
- line from Synchronicity II, but "crotch" isn't classy, apparently

Into Peril
- generic sounding hardcore/thrash metal band name

- we had no more good ideas

I play as a part of Rule 36. Top 400 bands, wahoo. (Which is kinda funny, since we don't even have a serious lineup... we have a good drummer and a good guitarist, and the rest just float in and out)

I have two bands:

My decidedly European band; named after "Almagest", the mathematical and astronomical treatise about the motions of celestial bodies authored by Ptolemy. It started out as my primary me-and-my-sisters band, but as they found less and less time to play, it eventually became my one-man band. We're basically metal-themed, with strong influences in style from bands like Rhapsody of Fire and Rammstein. If you check out the "details" tab of the link I provided, you'll see where they're coming from, as I've made up a short summary of their history as a band. When I can, I also try to update the band blog in-character.

^ (Albeit for a one-man band, I'm almost ranked in the top 1000 for this one.)

My Seattle Punk band; named after Sabin from Final Fantasy VI and one of his Blitzes (at least, the original English translation of it). They're heavy into video games from the mid to late 90s, and have leanings towards mainstream Rock. Until I can find an actual mic stand with which to play drums (the drummer, Sophitia Pearle, is the band's leader), and thus progress through the BWT again as a one-man band, this would be my current me-and-my-sisters-and-anybody-else band. Again, the details tab describes my band's history; but I don't update the band blog for this one, as opposed to Almagestic's blog.

My band is called P.I.E! It stands for People In Envy. I am the drummer and my friend Nathaniel Mauro is the guitarist. I also have a 2nd band that I formed with my brother called Railyard. We Place our logo on our guitars and basses!

I`ve had a couple since I started playing with my friends. A few are lame, but here are two of my favorites.

I`ll just steal your idea in the first post xD

Name: Captain Wednesday (there`s no story behind this one other than my friend saying we sound name the band after a mediocre superhero, and what`s more mediocre than wednesday, honestly)
Theme: DeVorn. He`s the drummer, my friends character, and definatly the frontman of the band. Absolutely the most awesome character we have made, and he makes all the themes and trends for the bands, as well as is the reason why all the girls wolf call when we play xD
Memorable moments: as said, the time that that whatever song we were playing (probably foreplay considering the painfully long time you have to sit not playing in that song, not saying it`s a bad song, but yeah) when we heard girls in the crowd wolf calling. I was like `Hey, listen, it`s all the rabid fangirls`and since then DeVorn has been a God. :)

Name: Killasoraus Tectonics (derived from the randomly made by the game name `Killasoraus Teutonics` random, yes, awesome, oh yeah)
Theme: All buttkicking girly
Memorable moments: this band was created on a night of awesomeness with three of my girlfriends when we decided that we were finally going to make an all girl band and rip through the whole world tour in one night.
