Can't play DLC. Video inside

Ok, so this started happening about 3-4 days ago. When I try to play or practice any DLC song, it says: "The song data you were accessing has become unavailable, and the game cannot proceed without it. Your game session has restarted". I cleared my cache, was able to play about 3 songs, then it happened again. Here's the video to show what's happening:

Anybody know what I should do?

i have that same problem some what. it doesnt say that on my x box but i cant play the songs. it shows up on my list but when i pick the DL songs it stays on the loading screen. if you find a way to fix it send me some info. i'll do the same. later bro.

Here's how to fix that:


What you need to do is go to the System Blade, then go into Memory -> Hard Drive -> Games -> Rock Band

Down near the bottom you'll find a file called Rock Band Downloaded Song Data (or something very similar to that).

Delete that file. Do NOT delete your Save Game file.

Then make sure you're signed into XBL and restart the game. It'll ask you to pick a storage device for your DLC data cache. Just pick your hard drive and it'll rebuild all the DRM cache and you should be good to go.

This error has confused me - I took my GamerTag to a friends Xbox (he actually put his hard disk in my Xbox) via a memory unit, and we got this error on DLC. So I moved my GamerTag to his hard disk, and when we tried DLC again it just got stuck "loading". The Xbox didn't freeze, I could exist to the dashboard.

What is the deal here, because I am able to play all DLC on my Xbox fine. He is able to play all his DLC on his Xbox fine. But if I take my GamerTag to his we can't play any?

(I also tried to copy my Rock Band save game data to my memory unit, but the dashboard told me I couldn't. How do I take my band/characters on the move?)

this is because dlcs are tied to the console you originally purchased your dlcs on and on your gamertag.

if you try to play your dlcs on your friends console and vice versa the console will need to be connected to xbox live in order to verify that the gamertag has bought the dlcs

Oh my god this problem had forced me to replace the game disc and then my console and all it took was a little fix like this. I am so happy now. Thanks!
