Customizing guitars?

Does anyone know how far you can take guitar customization? I'm pretty sure I won't be able to create a Frankensteinian monstrosity with mismatched body and neck, etc. But can you choose colors for the guitar body and pickguard, much like with the character's hair color? It would be a great way within the game of allowing just that extra level of flexibility...

This just might be one of the surprises in store for next week. At least that's what I was thinking, given they have the tattoo system now it shouldn't be too complicated.

All this customization you'd think you'd be able to customize your fret board as well. No complaining here though, HMX has definitely satisfied my customization needs for the game so far, but maybe it's something that will be added into RB2 :p
