I bought a new strat last week, and right out of the box the overdrive wouldn't activate unless you hit the SELECT button. Apologies to anyone I played with online. Did you notice how my multiplier always died right before I activated overdrive? Now you know. :D
Fortunately Best Buy exchanged it without a receipt (Rewards Zone is good for something). We'll see how the new one works tonight.
And, oh, I just blinked, too, and in a few minutes I'm going to hit the restroom. :)
