this week we had buffett (NOT BUFFET :mad: ) disturbed was a promo that had to be released with the cd, so I don't count it in my equation

its obvious we are going in reverse alphabetical order and the only natural tendency for next week is to be Bon Jovi

I'm guessing that Maximo Park will either be a three pack (I understand there were 7 songs by MP in Singstar), or we'll get two other Brit alternatives with it. . .

Not that I have resigned myself that June is going to suck for Americans, but I kind of feel the thrust of DLC releases this month probably will be to the benefit of European fans more than American. . . and that's fine. We've had it our way since November, but with Cruefest starting the 22nd of June and The Pixies due out probably the last week of this month, my eyes are set on the prize that is July!!! I'm thinking July will be huge, culminating with E3 and a possible Rockband II playlist announcement!!!!

Just a little theory I've been thinking about since the European release and after 6/3 DLC...

Well heres my theory on the way HMX is going to do things(repeat just a theory)

Tuesday we got 2 packs... Jimmy Buffet and Disturbed. I was unaware until it was released that most people not living in the U.S. had no idea who Jimmy Buffet was. This got me thinking.

Now the European band Maximo Park had stated that they would have a song for DLC on 6/10.

Seems to me this may be the beginning of a new system...(heres my theory)

Monthly DLC System

Week 1 - U.S. Band pack + General Rock
Week 2 - European Band pack + General Rock
Week 3 - 2 general rock packs
Week 4 - Full Album (since both full albums have released at the end of the month, and "Doolittle" seems like it will likely follow that path)

Perhaps when the Japan version is shipped the system will change to

Week 1 - U.S. Band pack + General Rock
Week 2 - European Band pack + General Rock
Week 3 - Japanise Band pack + General Rock
Week 4 - Full Album

Seems like a logical way to do things...
