I was just looking through screens and videos and there has to be over like thousands of ways to customize your character. This is one of the things I've been waiting for in Guitar Hero but they never came through but it seems that Rock Band nailed it. I can't wait till November 23rd this game looks insane I can't wait to play the drums on Welcome Home with my totally unique character. Does anyone else find the character creator as awesome as I do?

Yeah, I never really look at my character while playing GH so I don't think I will in RB. I still love the fact of customization though, The only downside is the number of faces you get to choose from. Facial hair plays a big part in how someone looks though, so maybe there is a lot of facial/normal hair to choose from. And even more customization options through DLC. I'd definitely buy a new pack of hair styles/clothing and such.

It looks alright. Supposively, you have to purchase a lot of that clothing from your "tour money" and the selection at the begining of the game is kinda weak. But either way, simply having the ability to customize a charachter is awesome! I just wish you can upload your own photo from your XBL camera and use it on your charachter like in Rainbow 6: Vegas and Tiger Woods 2008.

when i look at videos i notice that kind of stuff, but when i actually play it i never really look at whats going on in the background.

still, i;m excited for it, it adds some uniqueness to everyone, especially online

I'm probably going to be singing cause none of my friends want to.
So there'll be lots of time to check out my character. =)

Yeah, i don't think anyone looks at their character while playing, I know I don't. The ability to make your own character is still awesome though, it adds more to the game and gives that bit more realism to the whole "band experience". It's creating the character that's the fun bit, not just playing as them.

It's that part right before the performance when it zooms in on the character and says "So and so, on the guitar" or whatever. That's the coolest part when your character will stand out and represent.
