I'd just like to say to Harmonix and MTV Games that you guys really made an exceptional game. You took fake music playing to a new level with Rock Band, way beyond what Guitar Hero offered. This truly is the ultimate party game.

I'd like to point out some less-discussed awesome things you did with Rock Band:

1. Downloadable Content: When I was considering Guitar Hero III, I read from the people from Activision and Neversoft that there would be "the most downloadable content on Xbox Live for any game". I got pretty pumped up for that. But after I bought it, it turned out that they'd only release one 3-song pack every month or so. Then I went over to the Rock Band section, and I was really suprised to see how many new songs you guys had put up. I'd imagine it would be a lot easier to make Guitar Hero tracks than Rock Band tracks, because you'd have to make four different tracks for each instrument. But your 3-songs-a-week policy is what makes this game so much better. I hope you continue with this, and I'll be looking for more awesome songs to play (*cough* Guns N' Roses please).

2. Art: I've noticed not a lot of hoo-ha was given to the feature that gave you the ability to put almost whatever you wanted on tattoos, shirts, guitars, and just about anything. This level of customization is amazing. Guitar Hero is nothing compared to this. I love being able to create my own unique characters.

3. Song Choice: I'll admit it, I was worried about the track list for Rock Band, seeing that MTV was helping the development of it. I always disliked MTV's taste for music, but this game doesn't reflect that. Your song choices were excellent, and especially in the bonus track section, you introduced me to some awesome songs that I would have never had the chance to listen to if it weren't for Rock Band (maybe eventually but whatever).

There's tons more I'd like to talk about, but I've got to get my daily dose of Rock Band soon. Thanks for such an enjoyable game, and I'll be eagerly looking for future installments.

Ah yes, the honeymoon period! It is a wonderful time!

Then you wake up next to her without her makeup, bad breath and wishing you hadn't drunk so much......

Yeah, I'll probably make another novel of a post about the drum set and guitar that'll break within a week.

with the exception of a broken pedal I've been on a 7 month honeymoon with no complaints. It happens more often than not.

I guess I got married to RB on launch day (during which I was on thanksgiving holiday so I had a good 5 or 6 days off work to play it non stop) And even though my controller broke and the game disc broke twice, I'm still on Honeymoon...

AND AIN'T GONNA STOP WEEEEEE
