Hardcore Pack?

i rekon you should include some of these bands in the game-i think alot of people would like it if they included some hardcore in the game as there is a lack of it in all the music games ive played :(

here are some bands they should include for example:

suicide silence
parkway drive
bring me the horizon
as i lay dying
from a second story window
the red chord
annotations of an autopsy

theres a few for you :)

Yeah, i think that’s a pretty good idea, they should include the song Pandora by parkway drive, its really good.

They defiantly need this pack, then the game would have covered most genres.

plus it will be a big challenge to play, as it requires fast guitar and extremely fast drumming, something to test the best players?

Well- I think it's important to say that they will "be moving towards, having music for everybody".

But I agree, I have several people who come over and would love to play this.

It might turn my girlfriend on to the game, which would help me out greatly. ;)

the bands you listed are hardcore PUNK bands

not hardcore metal bands, and the genre we're discussing is hardcore metal (hence why i listed the bands i did)

if i ment the bands you listed i would have named this thread "hardcore punk pack"

dude these bands are not strictly hardcore. some are metalcore and others are deathcore. they all have some hardcore influence to them though, i love them all especially suicide silence and parkway drive!

I heard some Maylene and the Sons of Disaster yesterday and I have to say I enjoyed it, despite not being a huge fan of the genre. I could also go for some Silverstein and some Rise Against (the latter being melodic hardcore/punk rock, but I love them anyway and I associate them with Silverstein after seeing them together, so I added them.)

The OP's list contains absolutely NO hardcore

like the other guy said..hardcore is Black Flag, Agnostic Front, Minor Threat, etc. etc.

and as for those bands being 'punk' bands it's not off-base but not entirely true...they are the first wave of American hardcore bands...hardcore being the more pure, and 'true' form of punk...hence the term hardcore..

I remember seeing the Red Chord play in the gymnasium of a run down YMCA about 7 years ago, and never in a million years would I have thought that one day someone would be pushing to see them featured in a video game. The most appropriate song, of course, would be 16 Bit Fingerprint.

I think it would be really amazing to release this pack, then at least i can scream in more then one song... and hardcore is really energetic, would be really cool, love to see even just one song (16 Bit Fingerprint would be a good choice) or a whole pack of hardcore Metal and death core.

yeah a lot of double bass, it would be nice if hmx would include two "hits" of the bass pedal in one bass note. that way our feet will still be functional lol. it is unfortunate too because Parkway Drive and Suicide Silence are among my favorite bands.

haha yeah theyve become really popular now yeah 16 bit-fingerprint is a good song, but i would prefere some stuff from theyre "clients" album as its theyre best (in my opinion)

i couldn't fathom any hardcore punk (my definite preference) coming to the game, unless it was a cover and that probably wouldn't sit well with me or other fans...
however, maybe something from a band like integrity (humanity is the devil-era), refused ("songs to fan the flames" would work better in the game, despite "the shape of punk" being a superior album), or timebomb would work. i would maybe even give something like early snapcase or by the grace of god a shot if offered, despite not being a fan.
