Evile is the best new thrash metal band I'll say that much.

Not a huge fan but I'm gonna see them when they come through North Myrtle Beach...

the shows 2 creators who also write all the music and play the instruments are going on tour with a band to play the songs.

Episodes of Metalocalypse plays in the background while they play on stage.

And having seen both the creators, they look NOTHING like you'd expect the creators of the most brutal band in the world to look like :p

Didn't Gorillaz do something similar? They projected the cartoon band playing on a screen while the real band played behind it, I believe.

Just got back from seeing them tonight. Show was electric. Haven't seen a crowd that pumped in a small venue in a VERY long time. Played about 2/3 of the stuff from the Dethalbum, crowd were absolutely animals, but not quite crossing into violent. Brendan is bigger in person than I thought he'd be, he looks tiny in the net pics I've seen. A lot of stuff playing on the projector that's done specially for the tour, not in actual episodes.

For a band that only exists on television they were a hell of an act.

dude...I could've seen them Sunday if they came to a place closer to me than the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach...

...like maybe if they went to the Koger Center or the Columbia Coliseum...

...maybe next tour...
