So i am new to this forum, and i don't know if yall have mentioned this or not....but im short on money and i wanna know if you can just buy the game....is that possible or do you have to do like they did with guitar hero 1 and buy everything for the LOW LOW cost of 200 bucks?

You can buy just the game and :Insert instrument here: for $140 (At the estimated prices for game and guitar seperate now) -NEXT- year. Or you can buy the bundle for 170 -THIS- year and it comes with Game,Guitar,Mic,Drums,USB Hub with 4 USB ports. So honestly... Why not spend that extra 30 for everything? You'd be saving a lot of cash if you think about it.

You can buy the game only for $60 (presumably $50 for PS2).

One bundle option is also available for $170 for PS3 and X360 and $160 for PS2.

Use an xplorer and get the most out of the guitar career, join a band online and play guitar/bass. Xbox headset is useable as a mic, so ya can get some singing done too. Then a few months later by the drums by themselves?

Dont see why that wouldn't work.

It would work but it would be ghetto as hell man. I rather just save up the cash until I could get everything together rather then trying to play it the cheapest way I can. Couldn't imagine getting the "full experience" of Rock Band by using an Xplorer and XBL Headset, But that's just me I guess.

Agreed, but if your on a tight budget and not a die hard fan like many of us here, then it'd do.

Hell, I'm spending like $260 to get the game imported to Australia coz i cant wait for EU release.

Aw man that bites, I feel for everyone outside the US. I think it kind of blows you guys have to wait unless you import. I have a good amount of friends from the UK,AUS, and CAN. And the fact I won't be able to rock out with them on RB or GHIII till next year is kinda lame. (Except for CAN, unless they really do get delayed which I'm hoping isn't going to happen.)
