How about a Blues Brothers set? would that be possible? I think pretty much all their stuff was live and recorded in the 70's so they might not have the masters to do it right, but who knows?
I know they are all covers but they had a little bit more Rock Band friendly sound than the originals and it would be popular at parties... And have a very solid sound as all the musicians in the band were accomplished blues musicians.
I was thinking something like...
Soul Man (Obviously, Play it Steve...)
B-Movie Boxcar Blues (The song that sparked my inspiration for the post)
Sweet Home Chicago
Everybody Needs Somebody (mostly a horn driven song, might be a problem)
Rawhide (for fun, good bass groove)
