How come the outer part of the drums don't register notes? I always have to hit the center to get a note out.

Is every ones drums like this?

mines pretty much the same i dont find it too bad as i just generaly hit the middle anyway but sometimes im out of place and it does mess up my streak

No, most work when you hit them anywhere on the pad.

You think that's bad? Try using those new silencing pads. Hits only register in the very center, if at all.
