What would be the best thing you could see at the end of Rock Band Week?

Just curious what you guys would like to see.



One rule:

-Don't say "[specific song] announced for Rock Band would be awesome!" or anything like that. This is a thread to see what you want to know/see, like more information on drums, or a full-length video of an already announced song, or an in-depth look at character creation. Not something that we already have an entire sub-forum for.

My wish: Full-length video of Foreplay/Long Time on Expert, played by people who are good at it and enthusiastic. One video of them playing, one video of the charts.

Believe it or not, I would most like to see some of the "mundane" aspects of the game.

*What does the DLC interface look like?
*How does one do the "custom setlist" feature as mentioned?



I hear whispers the opening video is awesome. That would be cool to see.


Achievements are also fun. Expect those to be out pretty soon too.

I would also like to see them create a band practice room. Something you can customize showing instruments you buy, and amps and stuff. If you're online line, just go into this special room and it's your band's practice room.

I think it would be cool if they set up the online matchmaking like a clasified ad. If you want to play guitar, it sets you up with a brief description saying, "Hard to Expert level Guitarist looking for a drummer, basis and singer" But when you get a singer, it takes them off of the classified ad. I dont know that would be cool. Maybe they would give you a little room to type something too like, NO FREAKING NOOBS! TRYING TO 5 STAR AN EXPERT SONG! ONLY JOIN IF YOU CAN BRING IT!

i'd actually like them to pick something that no one has really considered, though Apples had the right idea with the smaller overlooked aspects of the game, but i'd like them to kidna come at us from left field with something that is important and interesting, but that we weren't expecting.

but seriously, just because they're doing 5 days of coverage doesn't make it in depth, i think the article yesterday was actually devoid of content, they could have just posted the video and we would have gotten the same info, which means the article may well exist for those afraid to brave the IGN vocals on the video.

Yes, I'm with you. The talk about the band world tour just sounds so amazing and different. I've heard talk about how you start in some small venues and work your way up to larger geographic regions and back to previously visited towns/cities for bigger venues. There's talk about doing "sets" rather than just a single song, etc etc.

I'd love to see a little walk through of the "glue" that holds the band world tour together. Like the previous tour of the character customization stuff, just someone driving the menu system through the start of a tour and a few between-gig screens.

I wanna see if it's possible if you are in a song, and then instead of saying "You Rock!" or the winning phrase for this game, you take like a little break, with the fretboard still there and running, then all of a sudden the next song in the setlist begins, like in a real concert. That would be F'n insane in my opinion.

Yes!!! With crowd reaction, chanting for an encore if it's that time, the ability to talk to the crowd and have the crowd react.. Banter/setup for the next song (a la Social Distortion's "Live At The Whiskey")... that'd be awesome. :D
