Good picks so far! The mention of Doesn't Remind Me surprised me, but I do enjoy Tom's solo in that one.
I nominate The Pretenders' Kid. Not only is it one of the most depressing songs I have ever heard (mostly because their guitarist, James Honeyman-Scott, OD'ed shortly after their second album), but it also has one of my favorite solos ever committed to tape.

On a completely different (and potentially obscure!) note, the riff and guitar solo in The Polecat's Make A Circuit With Me sounds great. Now I really want some rockabilly in RB...

This is a great one because it's the only thing you're focused on through the whole song.

Yngwie Malmsteen - Black Star
Yngwie Malmsteen - Evil Eye
Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond the Sun
Racer X - Scit Scat Wah
Racer X - Technical Difficulties
Tony MacAlpine - Autumn Lords
Of course these are not mainstream crap music so I don't blame you for not knowing them.

If you can make it all the way through echoes...after the albatross sounds there is a sweet solo... I have always loved

Pink Floyd's comfortably numb definitely is one of the most recognizable guitar solos, but i'm gonna go with time, i'm not sure why i just love that solo i guess cuz it is just that good

Steve Howe has always been an excellent guitarist. This just illustrates his work overall. :)
