This game is going to be amazing. Finally we get out of WWII and into present day warefare.

Beta was amazing. Great game, but i've grown tired of FPS with a heavy emphasis on being good online.

I'm on the fence about this game. I've already committed to buying six games between late October and early December, so I'm going to follow along with the thread and see what people's opinions are and everything.

I know people said it had an absolutely killer multiplayer.

But we'll see, help me out here people. :D

Call of Duty balances out multiplayer and campaign pretty well. Call of Duty 4 is even going to have customizable weapons for online multiplayer with some pretty sick options. That and I am pretty good at this game online so theres no way in hell im turning away CoD4.

Now, I rented CoD3 a month or two back for the PS3 and that was made by a different company, right? Supposedly it went back to the company that made the first two games. I'll probably end up picking it up because it comes out the week after Guitar Hero 3 and a week before Assassin's Creed, so I'll probably pick it up as an impulse purchase lol.

The only downside is I can't play online with all you cool xbox 360 people here. :D

count me in I've had my reserve for this beautiful bastard paid off for like 2 months! I got through COD2 on veteran difficulty(can't say there weren't times i felt like giving up haha!) and amready for some more hardcore ass kickin!!! oh, and i didnt have xbox live back when i was playing COD2 so that's something else to look foward to...

I made the mistake of barely playing the beta..

I'm not getting the game day one, but I will eventually pick it up.
