When you're on tour in Rock Band do you have to play all the venues in one city before moving on, or do you play the smaller venues and then grow to the bigger venues as you get better?
A little bit of both things happen. Early on you'll earn a tour van which will allow you to play clubs in neighboring cities, later after you've got enough fame from playing small and big clubs you'll earn a tour bus which allows you to tour the continent, later a private jet will allow you to tour the globe. It's not a linear progression geographically, you'll end up looping back through cities you toured earlier to either play in larger venues, or earn enough fans in those cities to unlock larger venues.
