Is there a detailed explanation of how acquiring fans works (as well as fan caps) somewhere?
I’d like to understand in detail how the fan caps work in band world tour. Right now I am stuck on 550,000 playing Medium however…
a) I see lots of posts that the cap is playing on medium is 600,000 (not 550,000)
b) I just completed one song on Hard but gained no additional fans (very frustrating!)
I know there is a relationship between the number of fans gained and the venue played as well as how well (I think how many stars) I do on the song…
I would like to understand the exact details for how all of this is suppose to work. Is there a sticky post or an FAQ or a wiki someone has done on the details behind how the (patched) fan caps work?

P.P.S. I have to agree with many who have posted that the fan caps are horrible - if you want to tie achievements to fans then fine, but don’t block the game. The only thing worse than fan caps is the terrible band entry UI – the design is positively horrid (so much so that my wife/kids won’t play without me because it is so hard to figure out how to setup our band).
