i like a lot of music:

classic rock, metal, hard rock, grunge, punk, reggae, ska, blues, jazz, and hawaiian. pretty much everything xcept rap, hiphop, country, and really heavy metal

first and foremost is thrash for me... so i chose metal... however i also chose "other"...

im not sure its a genre by itself but i do like listening to the singer/songwriter types...

Prog would be my favorite, but it's not up there...otherwise it's metal or classic rock for me.

And is it really too much to ask to add those extra two letters to 'your'? Kids today... *grumble* ;)

Isn't Indie rock technically a form of minor record label?
I mean it's like Muse is considered Indie in America, but is really Prog, and Alt.
Indie is just generally underground music :)

well... i KINDA agree with you. Im a punk convert. I loved the energy and speed that was associated with punk.

but then i was introduced to anthrax and metallica.... and quite frankly the far superior musicianship had me hooked.

... besides... you even called it "thrash metal" in your post :P

just like how thrash metal isnt metal pop punk isnt punk and alt rock isnt an alternative anymore its the mainstreem
