Brutal Legend!

A new game by Tim Schafer, follows the tale of Eddie Riggs, roadie for a rock and roll band who gets transported into an alternate dimension when he bleeds into a posessed belt he is wearing where rock and roll is the basis of all life, when Eddie arrives he finds out that humans are being opressed by a demonic force and it is up to him to free them, his main weapon a battle axe which he is an expert on weilding(he doesn't know why he's so good with it but according to Tim Schafer there is a very good reason why), and a guitar that when he plays and awesome solo does an attack, there are different solos he can play that each have a different attack, and in order to succeed in his mission he must free different types of people that in turn will help him in their own unique way, you will be able to control over 10 types of hordes of people that each have their own unique abilities. Many Rock Legends will be included in this game from bands such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Candlemass, Killenstein, and many others, some of them will lend their voices for different characters, Jack Black will voice the protagonist Eddie Riggs. This game will make many homages to heavy metal, such as the Grim Reaper, mountains made of giant amps, characters such as head bangers, demons, and many covers of heavy metal albums will play a big part in this game, this game will come out somtime next year for Xbox360 and PlayStation3! whoo hoo, i can't wait!

Yeah this is in the new GI. I can't wait to play it I just hope it doesn't go over board with all the Metal refrences. I don't want it to end up being a heavy metal Shrek movie.

I've been a huge Tim Schafer fan since Monkey Island, and decided he was a design god when I played Full Throttle for the first time.
