This game is coming out next week for the PS3 so I'm trying to see how many people from this forum is interested in this one. I'm not really into card games but seems like it could be fun, the main reason I'm cosidering to buy it, is because I was planning on getting the PS eye anyway which is 40 bucks, but this game bundle includes the PS eye, along with a neat stand and the game(obviously) for 30 dollars more so it seems like a great deal.
Opinions on the game?

I don't have a PS3, so I can't get the game :(
I did see it being played at PAX, and it looked awesome, but I never got the chance to play it myself.

I'm thinking about it although I really don't have the money. Maybe if i could get my brother to pay like $100 and i pay the other $60.
Just a bit scared I'd get bored with it, I know my bro would love it though.

As cool as the game looks, I'm worried that it would suffer from the same problems as Magic: the Gathering. Namely you have to buy new cards to be successful. Of course, if you're a CCG fanatic this is a godsend, since you can play online if none of your RL friends play. And, of course, the thing that made me stop playing Magic was that you HAD to get the new card series. Once they started adding abilities that only had counters in the new series, you either bought them or you lost, simple as that.
So as cool as the game is, I have this horrible feeling it's just a money-grubbing scheme...

Isn't that really with anything we buy?

Magic got worse because they intentionally made previous cards obsolete. I could see the same thing happening here.
I guess where I differentiate a money-grubbing scheme from your standard consumer product is what happens after you buy it. Once you make the initial investment, does the company deprecate the value of your original purchase in order to make you pay them more money, just to get the same value you originally had with the product? That's a scheme. Can you ignore updates or additions to the product and still get the same satisfaction from it? That's how it should be.
For example, Magic added "Shadow" creatures (or whatever they were called) that could only be blocked by other shadow creatures, and couldn't block regulars. Well, somebody comes along with a shadow deck and you have three options
1) Accept you're going to lose.
2) Improve your deck to get back on a level playing field (aka, buy more cards)
3) Buy your own shadow deck to counter his.
And they did something like this every iteration. Not that Eye of Judgement will do this, but I think it's possible.

I say go for it , why ? because it comes with the Playstation Eye wich you will be able to download a free program for the Ps3 via PS Store on the 23 to make videos (edit add effects cut paste) also it comes with the Eye Of Judgment (Not the Eye of Judgement) wich to me looks fun and might be hours of entertainment.
