Band Members in solo tour

Hey, this is my first post but I've been lurking on these forums for a while, and I haven't seen an answer to this question. So sorry in advance if its been answered.

Anyway, I was wondering if in the Solo Tour mode of Rock Band, you will be able to design all the members of your band, or just the one that you play as. I would very much like to piece together my own custom band with their own unique looks and styles. If it just uses pre-made characters or randoms or something it kinda defeats the purpose of the character creator to me.

Honestly from the videos and such I've seen so far... It looks like you can only create who is playing and the rest is just generate. I'm more than likely wrong though, HMX has worked extremely hard on this game to forget that major detail of the game.

I really hope that you can create other band mates. It seems kinda lame to have a band simulator where you can only customize one member of the band. Although I know its best when enjoyed with three of your friends... I'll be the first to say I don't have three friends (not that are into these games anyway). So with that said, I'll be playing mostly solo.

i was thinking that since you can create a character for a singer, bassist, guitarist, and drummer and your doing the singing career you should be able to set your other three characters as your band mates

but that probably wont happen

I remember talking about this before. I don't think you'll be able to customize the other people. But you might be able to choose a style of your band.

That way you don't have like a metalhead for your player, but the rest of the band is emo or something.

No one really knows as of yet. For the most part we have only seen videos of multiple players. I don't think you will be able to create your bandmates in solo mode, I feel like it will be similar to Guitar Hero in that it will have either randomly made or set characters that become your band.

I hope they focus a bit on single player in some interview or something and get to the bottom of it.

if it is auto-generate other band members then i hope it atleast creates similar bandmates based on choices of my character. Would look odd to have a hippie, a punk, a goth and a rocker in the same band

I made a thread about just this issue a few months ago. Essentially, I got the same responses. I'm really pullin for customizing all the band members, cause if you're gonna have all that cash and all the potential costumes, looks, and whatnot, it'd be a smae to only be able to experiment with them on one character. If you can create your own, however, I hope that you are able to at least pick from a group of pre-generated characters to join your band. That'd be sweet.
