Rockband has given me a great excuse to throw myself a birthday party!
Here are the kick-ass invitations I made up. Thought you guys might get a kick out of them.

WOW! That looks really cool! I think I may have to make some similar ones

Great idea, and really well done. Much more creative than my invitations, which usually consist of calling a buddy and saying, "Hey, come on up this weekend, we'll get ****faced and play videogames."

Truly awesome tickets man. I'm not going to steal the idea, but you know I'm throwing a RB Party, like EVERY one else who cruises these forums.

If I figure out the blurred out phone number, can I RSVP and get free food and beer? :D
Awesome background image btw... is that stolen from somewhere or did you make it?

^^ Invite my sister made. Yes, I realize, posting 'beer and food provided' on the public interwebz might be pretty dumb, but hey, if you're crazy enough to find the VFW hall in Havana IL, then you earned it...

Hmm... three hour drive from STL...
I'll actually be in Chicago that weekend at a concert, so no worries about this creepy internet guy showing up.

Like I said, sister made it...not sure where she got it from. And sure, if you manage to RSVP, then you're in...:D
Coolest part is, and can't believe I forgot it, was she also found somewhere online that sells those plastic lanyard sleeves real cheap, so for the actual print invites we're sending out, they'll come in one of those sleeves like you would see real VIP passes in...thought that was a neat touch. I'm so mailing one to HMX...hehe.

That's freakin' awesome man... I have friends who have been touring around, and they've got stacks of their access passes from tours and events, everyone loves those things. It's a great idea for the invites. :D

Yah, my sister's pretty damn smart. I really hope people get into it and wear them to the party...we'll see I guess.

Very cool!
I'll be throwing a rock star themed party in January. I was planning on sending out "back stage passes" for the invitation.
With Rock Band, a bowl full of M&Ms (no brown ones!), a bunch of booze, and manditory rock themed costumes, should be a great time.
Nothing like a good reason to throw a party! Thanks Harmonix!

That's pretty cool! I wanna know, do you plan on making perforated edges/stubs for those tickets? :D

I wanted to go thrat route first, but then I figured the tickets would work out better. I'm lazy like that.
And to everyone asking, please steal this idea. I'm certainly not going to claim to have "invented" then idea of issuing tickets to an event!!
