Has anyone seen if this mode is available? I know you can jam with other people online, but don't know if you can in career mode.

Yes, World Band Tour is online and offline. You can play with a mixture of online players, or people right next to you.

k ive been on teh forums for months and i think i missed this can u battle people online 1 on 1? i know u cant do that with a band but just single?

I think they were talking about "REAL" bands, not the game itself. A real band could face each other 1 on 1 if they wanted to. And yes I think there is an online battle mode.

What about 1 vs. 1?

There will be band vs band and instrument vs. instruments (1 v 1). So guitar vs. guitar. bass vs bass, drum vs drum, vox vs vox.

Band Vs. Band? When was the confirmed? The only thing they ever said about Band Vs. Band was leader boards, so you don't actually get to go against them, just see how you're doing against everyone else. And with the Achievement list if it really is real, then the "Tug of War" ranked matches clearly means there will be online versus with instruments.

There will be 1v1, but Alex flat out stated there will be no band vs. band in his podcast interview.
