So what system do you think is better the ps3 or xbox 360?

Ok i have had a ps3 for a while now and i dont know if it stands up against the xbox 360. I dont know which is better. The only reason i think the xbox 360 is better is because of online and downloadable stuff. So which do you think is better and say why you think that. I might get an xbox 360, so this will help decide if i will.

Get what best suits you and your gaming needs. Budget will probably be a factor as well.

If you want to know, get a Wii if you have a lot of friends and like to party. It's not a system for being alone and gaming though because the graphics aren't up to par with a PS3 or 360. If you want to actually get into good gaming now rather than later. Get your a 360, it has a damn good online system the downside is you have to pay to play online. If you're wanting the best next gen system that will eventually pass the other to, get a PS3. You'll have to wait for a game that'll really make you want that system though. Although with the collection of games out so far for the PS3 I'd say it's slowly pulling ahead of the 360.

Really, they're all good systems but it's what you personally like. If you like to party, get a Wii. If you like next gen graphics with great online play buy a PS3 or 360, They're both going to kick ass online once HOME is released (If it hasn't been released yet, I wouldn't know I don't own a PS3. I want one though :()

I like the PS3 better. It hasn't broken on me 4 and a half times like the 360 has. (I say half because games are freezing and I'm getting disc errors,even on THPG the first time I put it in,3 red lights can't be far off and I'll be on 360 #6)

Since you've already got a PS3 I don't think a 360 would be worth it unless you really really really like FPS games and if you do you'd probably be better off getting a game quality PC.

I am someone who owns a 360, and leans toward the xbox camp... and even I wouldn't justify a 360 to someone who already owns a PS3. There are only two criteria that would really justify the purchase.

1. You really have that extra ~400 bucks to spend and money is not a factor. AND...

2. You really want access to the handful of XB 360 exclusive games out there

If it's just for Rock Band, you're going to get a full experience regardless of the 360 or PS3. IMHO it doesn't make sense to outlay the cost of a PS3/360 once you own the other one. (except possibly for said mentioned above reasons)
