These guys rock hard and they've got guitar, bass, vocals, and drums on each track. There aren't really any solos, but it rocks so hard I don't think it'd matter too much. I think it'd be really fun to play with other people. Just awesome indie-punk.
The Replacements - Tim http://youtube.com/watch?v=ap0p7mhu4w0
This album is awesome and has great parts for all the instruments. Seriously, Harmonix, get on this. I know at least a few of you guys have listened to it. A classic album.
Television - Marcquee Moonhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=8F6FgfiHj3w
This would be awesome if you could choose between guitar-guitar and guitar-bass. Playing coop with both guitars would be so much fun. Otherwise, it might be difficult to pick which guitar part to play at a given time... but it'd be worth it. Good stuff.
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain http://youtube.com/watch?v=BoMdkyeZOqE&mode=related&search=
Why should you always strive to sing in tune all the time? I think it might be a fun challenge to try to sing along to Malkmus. Plus, for all us mediocre singers out there, its so much easier to sing along to Pavement songs than to something like Tom Sawyer. Just imagining Fillmore Jive in this game gets me all hot and bothered.
The Fratellis - Costello Music http://youtube.com/watch?v=pKQK8rYZNHY
This album would just be flat out fun through and through.
The New Pornographers - Electric Version (couldn't find a good clip from this album)
This game needs indie-pop in a bad way, and what better album to stick some in than this? Guitar, drums, and bass all the way through. Awesome vocals to sing along to. Its very poppy and fun. Definitely would be a ton of fun to play through. Lots of great drum parts.
Any thoughts people?
