Rock Band at VGXPO!

I know it was mentioned before in the 'Philly Dates' thread, but I can't believe they're coming to VGXPO in Philly! I'm voluteering for GH and rhythm game assistance at VGXPO this year, so I'm planning on going anyway and I was going to e-mail HMX to tell them that VGXPO is a good idea for the Philly stop, but I knew I'd be outta my place 'cause they wouldn't really listen to me and, if they're smart, they'd make the wise choice and stop there.
But yeah, I was so pissed that they cancelled the Philly dates and, no sooner do they reschedule the dates to a better date and an even better place. So, thought I'd just vent out that happiness and also give you some info. on VGXPO 'cause it really isn't that well known.
The VGXPO (vgxpo.com) is taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philly on November 2nd-4th, in which RB will be there the 3rd and 4th. It's a fairly cheap time, especially for the 3 day package and especially for those who can't get into E3, seeing as this is the closest you'll get to E3 on the East coast and it's considered the biggest around here. So, check out the website and I hope to see a lot of RB fans from here or from outside of the forum to be there. It should be a fun time and they're saying it's gonna be the best VGXPO yet!:D

Dude they'll listen. I begged and pleaded for my College Park stop and got want I semi-wanted. And Sean and I exchanged a few words on the subject prior. Awesome news. Hope this benefits Akaymay.

Hmm November 3rd and 4th? I think I have tests around that time, but I'll try and make my way up there, I wish it was free, but I'd be willing to pay a small fee to get a crack at some Rock Band!

Where is it located exactly in Philly? It says you can reach it easily by septa.
EDIT: Nevermind I found it, I guess it's right near Market East station, thats really easy for me, I hope it all works out.

BOOO, I have to pay money now to get into this convention to play Rock Band? Why couldn't they set up at UPenn like planned, so it would be free? Plus there is going to be tons of losers there dressed up like anime characters, dear god no. Well crap, I think I'm going to have to take the plunge and go in, if it was any other game I'd say HELL NO but it's Rock Band.

Well, thanks dude for letting me know that they'll listen.:D This isn't the first time I wanted them to listen, though, 'cause I'm an involved member and, pretty much, provider of GH, news of GH, news of RB, etc. and Drumsets in a 'Rock Club' that we have at school and after I told and showed my Graphic Arts teacher, who is the sponsor for the club and just about the coolest guy ever, he was like 'I want it, I want it for Rock Club.' So, he agreed to buy an Elite and, not one, but two RB bundles just exclusively for the club. See, told ya he's awesome. Then, I told him about the tour bus on the East coast and, if they kept the same schedule as before, they would have to pass through my town(Newtown, PA) to get from UPenn to the Best Buy that they we supposed to go to. So, he was so psyched that this could work out that he e-mailed HMX to see if the could just make a quick stop at my school for a special Rock Club meeting, but we haven't gotten anything back yet, so, that's where I got my assuption from. But, we're about one of the only 'Rock Clubs' around that is running strong, has a good structure, and has a sponsor (and me) to go over and above just to please the other members, so I was hoping that they'd take that into consideration for a quick stop. But, I dunno...hopefully they'll e-mail us back soon and yes, I hope this does work out to Akaymay's liking.:D

Oh, and they'll probably set it up outside somewhere near the expo, unless they can drive the truck into the convention center, yet, they do do the Philly Auto Show there, so, it'll probably not be a problem. Either way man, money or not, the VGXPO is gonna be so awesome! Think about it: a free arcade of over 1000 arcade games to choose from, VG flea markets, tourneys, GH free play, and RB! I'd pay $100 to get in to that, so, we're lucky it's as cheap as it is. :D
