i looked on friday for the dlc for tuesday,i seen doolittle,which im personally not getting i dont care for the pixies. anyways ive seen all this talk about critical acclaim and i was wandering why the talk of this because i thought it was doolittle and i just went and looked again and seen that the dlc for this week is 2 a7x songs the offspring and crooked x. anyways this dlc is amazing my favorite,best yet imo.

Don't worry I did this aswell. I came saw it was Doolittle and went ohwell, went to dinner came back and saw some guys down in the general forum talking about getting Offspring as DLC and I went what no we've got Doolittle and they were like check again Anarchy check it again.

This is why all my posts now go through Microsoft Word. I had no idea that there we that many English Professors out in Rock Band land. I am more nervous posting here than when I had to turn in my senior thesis. Some people just aren't happy unless they are criticizing someone. Oh yeah, what was this thread about?:D

Hehe, I know what you mean, for me I am dyslexic so trying to write in a clear and concise manner is harder than playing the damn game.

I'll probably hold out on next week until I see how they are charted, and if they aren't too rediculous I'll buy at least the a7x tracks. I'll pass on the Pixies; I can respect their musical talent and agree that this album will make a great addition to the game, but their sound just isn't my bowl of soup.

Both weeks are actually pretty unique I think. For the A7X and Offspring, both bands have some solid power behind their songs so I will definitely get these.

As far as Doolittle I don't know how I never managed to hear this band because they were around when I was like 18 or 20. I must have been too buried into the hard stuff and missed them? Either way they sort of fall into the catagory of experimental IMO. None of their stuff really sounds the same.

But so many people say after 3 or 4 times through the album that it will sort of click and start growing on you. So I may give them the benefit of the doubt here and take peoples advice and see if they 'click' for me. So Doolittle is a big maybe or put on hold waiting for that 'click'.;):)

Excited to see whats up after these couple of weeks though. Hopefully a metal pack or the 80's hair band stuff people have been talking about. Even some GOOD classic rock would be cool. Patience I suppose. This is something it seems that not too many people have on these forums, including myself. Music will do that to ya.;)
