Age Limit: All Ages!

System: XBOX 360. All band members must play HARD or EXPERT

Instruments: Full Band Tournament IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BRING YOUR OWN GUITARS.

Admission Fee: $10 per person ($40 per band)

Tournament Format: We are switching back to our original format for this Tournament in the interest of time!

Teams will be randomly placed against each other in a one song at a time rock off. After Every band has played 6 matches the top 4 teams with the best records will go on to the finals. Each band will then pick 1 song for all 4 bands to play. You will get 3 points for first place, 2 points for second and 1 point for third. The team with the most points will then win the Tournament (this will also rank 2nd and 3rd). If there is a tie, there will be a 1 random song battle to determine the winner.


Prizes: CASH Store Takes 20% Venue Fee out of main pot Prizes 50% of Entrance Fees 1st Place 30% 2nd Place 20% 3rd Place We have TONS of video games for all systems for sale so there will be plenty to pick from if you win!

I had a BLAST at the last one! This is the only Tournament I can even compete with the best in our store and I had so much fun last time! There were a lot of cool people that came and I hope you can make it again!

Also Offspring in Rock Band is the greatest thing ever!

You are allowed to play in 2 bands as long as at least one person in that band wasn't in another band. This will ensure single people won't miss out and will make for a bigger prize pool!

My friends and I will be there, if we can find a bassist to replace the one who just dropped out. Any lone bass players planning on showing up? :D

Also, since we weren't at the last tournament, I'm curious as to how the matches actually work. I understand the final round, but how do the six one-on-one matches work? Do both teams play the same song or different ones? Also, do you know off the top of your head which downloadable songs AREN'T available? Thanks!!

We make a list of all the bands, then each band picks a song and the band below them plays that song in a 1v1. Then they play their song and the next one. It goes on until everyone has played their pick and another pick. Then we shuffle the band names and do it again until every band has played 6 songs.

We've done a few tournaments this way and people really liked them.

Our band is definitely in. I have a few questions though if you're around to answer them in the next week or so. First of all, our singer backed out at the last second so we're either looking to pick up a (hopefully good) singer OR I'm pulling double duty and Guitaring/Singing.

Question 1: Anyone in the area a good singer that wants to sing for us?
Question 1A: If no one is, do you guys have a Mic Stand for me to use or should I bring my own?

Question 2: If our band wins money and I pulled double duty, do you think I should get the money for two parts of the band?

If you sing and play guitar... you have to still pay the 40 to enter....

so if you pay 20 you should get twice as much as your other guys....

If only our drummer had played since May!!! :( Great time though guys. You have a great set-up and couldn't really ask for more as far as a fun time with really cool people goes. We may not have won, but I got my money's worth.

If anyone's in the area for their next tournament, DEFINITELY check it out! Also, maybe in the future we can have some solo competitions!
