I, along with others, have decided to learn real drums after Rock Band. I looked around and saw a nice Pulse Pro set:

Does anyone have experience with this brand or know of other well known starter sets?

best bang-for-buck is pacific, gretsch and mapex.
that pulse kit is not a bad kit for the advertised price, brand new

That's not a bad starter kit, good price for it.
But keep in mind that it doesn't come with a throne, so that'll be a separate purchase.

Yeah, I did see that. I'll go to a few music stores around town to see what I can find before I decide. Thanks for the help.
