it took me forever also man. You may try to "slide" the notes instead of hammer ons and pull offs. get to where the guy whistles in the solo and go into overdrive after that (full bar if you can get it). Hate to use the cliche of practice but try the slide and see if that works for you, it did for me.

the song is pretty damn tough, but just keep on trying and you will get it, practice will help, even though in my case i did it on my first try, but its easy once you get the hang of it

i have no problem with sliding from right to left so the song was easy first time but if it was the exact same notes going from left to right id still be practicing the song 4 months later...

you need to slide your finger down the fret buttons from one color to the next instead of trying hammer ons and pull offs

I take it you haven't flirted with Greengrass and High Tides? It's about 10 times harder because there's no way you can use your overdrive as a crutch to through the solo... it's too long. GGaHT took me about a month. I didn't have a problem with Flirting With Disaster, but I do think it's difficulty curve and GGaHT's, compared to other songs in the set, feel like they belong in higher tier of unpossible songs. Highway Star is tough, but these guys are ridiculous. You have my sympathy.

Well.. This song is not hard. Im an expert singer and I can get thru this and green grass without problems. Both 5 stars. It's all about practicing :) Shouldnt be too difficult for you to pass.

green grass and high tides isn't that hard you just have to set in your mind when to hit the notes. i do it by listening to the click of the solo frets. and if im too fast i adjust and blah blah blah. 5 starred my second try. it's not that bad.

and flirtin' with disaster's solo isn't hard at all. solo keys work wonders. i use two hands on them and pretty much get past whatever except dumb **** like blackened and ride the lightning.

That was one of my trouble songs, originally. Now...all that is left is friggin' GG&HT...

Just practice it a bit more. Eventually, it won't feel nearly as difficult.

I got thru GGAHT on hard but not yet on expert...I'm sure I'll have difficulties..
