Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm (I'm not even a fan of the song, but to me this would be insanely fun to play)

The Weak Willed - All That Remains (Same band that made Six for GH2, except this song is even more complicated)

Loosing Sight - As I Lay Dying (Kick ass guitar throughout the entire song)

Show Me How To Live - Audioslave (Cornell has some amazing vocals, and the rest of it is pretty great as well)

Silent Night, Bodom Night - Children of Bodom (Great guitar, I'm sure a Bodom fan out there could name a better song though)

The Seduction - He Is Legend (Great blend of soft and heavy vocals, I could also just imagine this song being fun to play as well)

A Bid Farewell - Killswitch Engage (Just some good 'ol Metalcore)

Ashes of the Wake - Lamb of God (Great metal instrumental song, I'm not sure what they'd do about the lack of vocals though)

Happy? - Mudvayne (Iono, maybe just because I'm a Mudvayne fan. I think it's a pretty good song all around though.)

69 Tea - Seether (Just a great Alternative/Hard Rock song)

The Mindmaker - Soilwork (I think the guitar in this song is just purely amazing.)

Jambi - Tool (I could just see this being very fun to play, there are a lot of parts that lack vocals though.)

Now I know this list is going to get an insane ammount of criticism. I just scrolled through my iTunes library and chose out some songs I'd like to see. Obviously most of these would never make it into a music game since they aren't really to "pop culture" friendly.

I'm a huge Primus fan so my suggested songs were mostly that. I tried to pick the songs that would have some fun guitar parts in addition to Les's ridiculous bass parts, and the drum and vocals I think would be really good too. The buckethead song has no vocals so I doubt it'll make it in the game, but it'd be sweet to play for the guitar part.

I picked my songs for the games multi player in mind.. so that the songs would be more enjoyable for everyone rather than favoring a certain instrument.

And i chose... "All Power To Slaves" By CKY, "Flesh Into Gear" by CKY, "Tell Me Baby" by Red hot Chili Peppers, and more intended as a bonus track rather than main game play; a song you can buy, "Ooh" by Scissor Sisters. That song is funktastic.

I think variety would definitely be good for the game.
