I've always thought Derrick Pope's heel-toe video was quite good:

perhaps you could give tips on how to serperate your right hand from your right foot? i have an elec. drum set w/ bass pedal set up in my room and i currently suck, if not in drumming in general, then at least, at least at uncooperating my right foot from my right hand.
you get my drift, right?

Rudiments are great for developing limb independence.
"But David, how will practicing LRLR RLRR LRLL help me separate my foot from my hand?" I hear you cry.
That's a great question, I'm glad you asked!
And the answer is: Instead of practicing those rudiments with your two hands (sticks), you practice them with your right hand and right foot! Praddidles become - RFRR FRFF (the F = foot, obviously). You can do it with your left hand and foot too!
Fun fact: Vasoline is essentially a paradiddle between the left hand (snare) and the kick drum, with the right hand (hi-hat) keeping an even time with 1/4 notes.
