Alright guys sorry to do this but after seeing this I have to ask (and since I made a thread with a crap title which nobody will look at.)

With all the recent announcements that BWT will be 2 player local only, and that your character can't change instruments mid-gig, do you guys think HMX has any plans on improvements to the game after it comes out? Trust me I'm so super psyched for this game, every day until it comes out is filler in my life, and I have no right to b1tch since the game isn't out yet, but I just have to know. Is this basically the final Rock Band were going to see when it comes out, and they are just saving these improvements for Rock Band 2, or is it possible for them to patch these things in later (these things being single player and online BWT and changing instruments)? I can imagine how hard they must be working to get this game out in a year (put down the whip Sean, they're working as hard as they can), and I completely appreciate that. Time constraints can be a *****, which is another reason I can totally understand why these things were cut out. Sorry, I'm rambling, all I want to know is 2 things: 1) Is it possible for you guys to patch these things in later? and 2) If possible, do you intend to do so? Thank you very much for your responses.

you can use more then 2 people i hope u know that, as said in the ign article

"In theory, you and three buds can get together and start a band over the weekend. Then if you hate the way your friend Al sings, you can kick him off the band and bring in a ringer."

Yeah I meant 2 people +, forgot to add that little guy. But the fact is that you can't do that if you don't have any people who want to play the game, so BWT is almost useless to everyone without a bud to come over and play with.

Just announced today, it will be offline only. Band quickplay will still be online however.

Haha your right. I'm only saying I really....really hope they release a patch so that you can do single player BWT, I mean honestly, would that be so much work? I understand the online aspect, that would be a ridiculous amount of work to get 4 people going exactly the same on all the challenges, but would it make the game that much different to allow single player and local BWT? I don't think it's asking for much, and it would definitely pull customers in since, as I think I said in this thread earlier, not everyone has a bud they can call over whenever they need them, no matter what, just so that person can play. I guess I can only dream, it just confuses the hell out of me why they wouldn't include the expansive experience for single players and groups, instead of limiting singles to the solo tour (which I hear is very GH like in how it plays, nowhere near as in-depth as the BWT).

After watching through about half of it, I can tell that I'm going to be playing in Seattle (or through the Seattle setlist) alot. Anyway the thing about the World Tour I guess that I'm lucky that ALL of my friends want to play the game... that might create a problem with the 4 player limit...

Guitar on Expert + Vocals on Easy sounds like a fun way to do WBT.

Since there has been no other articles released as of 11pm EST, I would say yes this along with the article about Rock Band on PS3 was day 5 coverage, it wasn't that bad, the video was awesome, I liked getting a first look at World Tour Mode, looks sweet. I can't wait to try it out myself.

Yeah I'm happy with today's events. ScoreHero + IGN made my day, plus it's my birthday tomorrow. So the week ends on a good note. Can't wait for next week's look at the drums (hopefully new song but I have a feeling it will be Police's Next To You).

So, wait, IGN's BIG ANNOUNCEMENT was for stuff we already know about? Admittedly, I've watched the video like five or six times, but I was really expecting a set list or at least a new song or something.
