Mic Will not work!

just got the game, pugged everything in using the hub, and everything but the mic worked, tried the mic on my pc via ventrilo and everyone could hear me fine, i cannot find any options to turn the mic on or anything, it just says connect controller, any ideas would be grately appriciated coz im loosing my temper now :mad:

You need to use a standard controller (Dual-shock on PS2, Sixaxis on PS3, etc.) to control the vocalist.

Since the mic has no buttons on it, how would you select difficulties, clothing, etc?

The game is telling you exactly what to do: Connect a controller :)
